- A Ubuntu 20.04 installed dedicated server or KVM VPS.
- A root user access or normal user with administrative privileges.
Let’s get started with the installation.
1. Keep the server updated
# apt update -y
# apt upgrade -y
2. Install JDK 11
# apt install openjdk-11-jre-headless
3. Install NodeJS
# curl -sL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_15.x | sudo -E bash –
# apt-get install -y nodejs
4. Clone git repository
# git clone https://github.com/XploitWizer/XploitSPY.git
change current working directory to:
# cd XploitSPY/server/
5. Install dependencies
# npm install
6. Install PM2
# npm install pm2 -g
7. Start the script
# pm2 start index.js
Run script on server startup (Optional)
If you want to auto start the script after the server reboot, use following command:
# pm2 startup
Now, open the browser and navigate to http://<SERVER IP or URL>
NOTE: XploitSPY now works only on port 80 for both web and client and it’s recommended to run XploitSPY behind a reverse proxy such as NGINX.
